Like most families, we struggled for years with finances and the infamous family budget! The importance of establishing a budget was never in question. We knew that managing our money was vital to our success and peace of mind. The challenge was finding a system or product that could help us manage our money on a daily basis.
Everything on the market seemed to have serious drawbacks that discouraged us from using them. Some products were large, bulky, and simply not portable. Others were inflexible and allowed no customizing for individual preferences. And most importantly, they were all merely methods of recording our spending after the fact. They provided a nice review and historical record, but they did nothing to help us control our money day-to-day, minute-by-minute.
Finally, motivated by frustration and increasing debt. we were determined to find a solution. The result was the development of the CheckBook Money Manager. This simple tool not only helped us get out from under some weighty financial burdens but it has also put us in control of our money for the very first time.
Keep in mind that our suggestions for using the CheckBook Money Manager are simply that - suggestions. They will serve as a foundation for using this tool but over time you will undoubtedly develop your own preferences and procedures. In addition, we offer an educational seminar for groups interested in on-site training.
Lastly, one of the primary motivating factors for bringing the CheckBook Money Manager to market was to help individuals and families experience the freedom that comes from wise money management. There is a tremendous sense of satisfaction and self worth that comes from controlling your finances. All of us at the CheckBook Money Manager are here to help you realize that goal!
